We’re a new take on an old service.
In the past, pet owners had to decide between the security of their home and the socialization their best friend would receive at daycare or in boarding. But now, LCC offers a solution that combines the best of both worlds! We provide pet services, such as sitting and walking, with a companion dog. Lenny!

Hi friends! I'm Lenny (named after the legendary Lenny Kravitz), a spirited two-year-old miniature poodle (turning two in August 2024) passionate about city life and beachside adventures. At two years old, I've already lived the best of both worlds—New York City's bustling streets and the serene shores of Cherry Grove, Fire Island. So don’t be surprised when you see me playing fetch in Central Park during off-leash hours or digging holes on the sandy beaches of Fire Island.
My human says I'm quite the smarty-paw because I've had loads of training and socialization since I was just a pup (below are my two favorite places for daycare, training, and socialization classes). From the moment I could wag my tail, I've been dedicated to mastering the art of obedience and agility. Thanks to lots of training and plenty of treats (my favorite part!), I've become quite the pro at following commands and impressing all the humans with my tricks (ask me for a high five the next time you see me!). I’ve seen so many dog friends learn from me. My human always says dogs learn quicker from each other than from humans. And It’s so true!
But training is just one part of what makes me who I am. I'm a social butterfly with a heart of gold. Those who know me know me for my love of sharing toys and cuddling (especially spooning!). I'm always eager to meet new people, dogs, and especially puppies! Whether it's a friendly sniff in the park or a playful romp on the beach, I'm always up for making new friends and creating memorable playdates. I’m so good at playing that most of my friends forget about their humans being gone since we’re having such a good time.
And when it's time to unwind, I love nothing more than snuggling up with whoever is nearby. Whether we're cuddled on the couch watching Netflix or cozied up in bed for a nap, I'm in my element when I'm surrounded by warmth and love. So, if you or your pet is looking for a companion who loves to cuddle as much as I do, I might be the perfect fit for you.

Hey there! I'm Christina, and my journey is a blend of dreams, determination, and a whole lot of love for both people and pets. Growing up in an immigrant family of entrepreneurs, I learned the value of hard work and the power of following your passions. By day, I'm a passionate casting director and a member of the Casting Society of America and the Television Academy. It's a fast-paced world, and I thrive on the excitement of discovering new talent and bringing important stories to screens. I opened my own company in 2021, Christina Calisi Casting.
Like many of us, I have worked remotely since 2020. Working from home has its perks, but it was when I had my pup by my side that I truly understood its freedom. Suddenly, I saw an opportunity to work not just from my own home but also from the homes of others, surrounded by their beloved pets.
It all started when I welcomed Lenny into my home and heart. If you can believe it, Lenny had separation anxiety for the first five months, and he needed a sitter for when I was gone. It was terrifying to leave a stranger in my home and then, on top of it, to care for my helpless little guy. Ugh, talk about anxiety (I totally get what you’re currently feeling!!). That's when the lightbulb went off—I could blend my love for animals with my knack for entrepreneurship.
And so, Lenny’s Cuddle Club was born, serving the vibrant communities of NYC and Fire Island.
Whether dog walking, pet sitting, or offering personalized care, I pour my heart into ensuring every furry client receives the love and attention they deserve and feels cherished and cared for. I've built a reputation for reliability, compassion, and a genuine love for all creatures, great and small.
Doing this work as someone living with chronic diseases, animals have been my constant companions, bringing joy, comfort, and an unwavering sense of purpose. FAQs
Does every service Include Lenny?
Walks and drop-in hourly sitting can be booked with or without Lenny as a pup companion. But all overnight or bookings over 6 hours must be booked with Lenny.
Where are LCC’s services available?
We have two locations: Upper West Side, NYC, and Cherry Grove, Fire Island. We provide our services in every borough, select parts of New Jersey, and all of Fire Island, NY.
What are the payment options available to me?
Cash, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal are all acceptable forms of payment.
Is there an extra fee If I want Lenny to accompany my dog on a walk?
NO! We never charge extra for Lenny!
What If I don’t want a meet and greet?
We require a meet-and-greet with Lenny and your pet for any service that Includes Lenny. This meet-and-greet must be conducted in a public place for the safety of both dogs. If you are not booking a service that includes Lenny, we still strongly suggest a meet-and-greet with Christina, but it is not required.

Do you have any additional services?
If you are Interested In a service you don’t see here, please reach out. We are happy to accommodate your needs. We also offer various add-on services (e.g., Bathing, socialization/encounters checklist, extra walks, etc.).
Do you allow pets offleash?
NEVER! Your pet may be great for you off-leash in the park, but we will never take that chance. Christina enriches your pet’s walk in other ways, like scent work (letting them do LOTS of sniffing). It is a great enrichment activity. It empowers your pet by giving them choice opportunities, which is very satisfying and calming. It is also surprisingly tiring.
Did you know? Even a relatively short “sniff walk” can help your pet be more relaxed and less likely to engage in unwanted behaviors when you get back home.
I’m interested in booking! What are the next steps?
Interested in joining Lenny’s Cuddle Club? Text or Email Christina. She would love to know more about your needs and all about your best friends. She will then send you a questionnaire and schedule a meet and greet.
What about a background check? You’re still a stranger, and this entire process makes me anxious.
Christina relates and understands more than you know, and that's one of the main reasons she started her services. In fact, when Lenny arrived, he would cry when left alone. She needed to use a sitter for the first few months. Christina was anxious about having a stranger in her home and, on top of that, having the stranger care for her new puppy!
At the heart of our services is a commitment to your comfort and peace of mind. Christina is happy to connect you with our current members to ask them questions and arrange a meet-and-greet with herself. In addition, she passed the Rover enhanced background check, and as a casting director, Christina underwent rigorous background checks.
Why did I recieve this questionnaire?
We require everyone to fill out a questionnaire so we may learn more about your pet, you, and your needs. This helps ensure we meet and exceed all expectations and guarantee your pet's safety.

Christina has been amazing for my pup! He absolutely loves her and has a blast playing with Lenny. Christina is very communicative and sends regular photo, video, and text updates that almost make me feel like I'm there with them. She also doesn't hesitate to ask questions to ensure she provides the best care for my baby, especially since he is a higher-maintenance breed. I can tell she genuinely loves my dog and cares about his well-being. When taking him outside, Christina usually picks an activity like popping into a coffee shop or visiting the park, so it's more like a puppy field trip than just a walk! I have been happy and relieved to find someone I feel comfortable and confident leaving my baby with when I can't be there!

Christina's an absolute gem, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. My husband and I have an 11-year-old Mastiff, Matilda, who is superglued to us, so it’s difficult for us to go out of town. Plus, since she’s 150 lbs and stubborn, sometimes she likes to go on her own journey, not listening to others. At first, Christina and Lenny came over beforehand to hang out and get to know us. Lenny was very sweet and playful towards Matty, but since she’s older, he was fine just to relax next to her. After that, we asked Christina and Lenny to house-sit/watch Matty for us. While my husband and I were out of town, Christina sent us frequent updates and pictures/videos of the dogs hanging out and snuggling. She indulged Matty and took her on so many walks! (One of Matty’s favorite things to do is be outside regardless of the weather). Not only did she take care of our dog, she was a great house sitter. Christina is an absolute delight to work with; she’s professional, and you can tell that she loves dogs of all sizes and breeds. Matty absolutely adores Christina and is overjoyed every time she comes over, wanting all the pets and snuggles. Lenny is so sweet, and even though he is a puppy with high energy, he calms down pretty quickly so he can relax with Matty.

Just when I thought it would be impossible to find someone who encompasses both fortitude (in the face of my stubborn and sometimes aggressive French bulldog) and compassion, I found Christina. She is a godsend. When she’s with my pup, she adopts my training methods and uses the language that he Is used to, follows my dog’s diet restrictions (when giving treats to reinforcer good behaviors), and really pays attention to all of the Important subtleties that can easily go unnoticed -- I honestly call her “the dog whisperer,” which I know is a bit cliche, but she really is. She’s in my dog’s head, and she's able to Instinctively prepare for anything my nutball throws at her. She also has a presence that demands obedience while also being a mush with my little dude. I hesitated to write a testimonial since she’s like a hidden gem I want to keep for myself!! She’s also skilled at managing her schedule and is very communicative and flexible; by chance, any changes need to be made by either her or me. I do recommend Christina without reservation for all of your pup needs.

She Is very accommodating to my dog’s needs and makes me feel reassured that she’s in good hands.
